OUT OF THE BOX, DEHRADUN.

A tough competitor of The great Indian pub(TGIP). My experience at TGIP was  really good which initially increased my expectations for OTB.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO GO OUT FOR A DRINK AND HAVE SOME REAL GOOD FOOD, WELL YOU WILL HAVE TO READ ABOUT THIS PLACE THEN.

LOCATION

Its located on the third floor of THE CENTRAL PALM HOTEL, on the Rajpur road. You will also see its board from the road so its quite easy to locate.

AMBIENCE

WOW! Seriously the ambience is huge with indoor and outdoor seating available. Its spacious with comfortable seating and beautiful. Actually!

FOOD 

Well its not just the ambience that matters but FOOD it is.
They have a bar and also serve hookahs. So if you’re looking for a place where you can have a drink and eat some real delicious food out of the box is surely going to be in the list.
I had huge expectations with what I was going to have in here and definitely was not disappointed.

Beginning with the SOUP-

I had the VEG HOT AND SOUR MANCHOW. It tasted good. Perfect for cold winters when you just want that strong feeling to have a thick and strong soup.

Totally worth a try. Nachos had become a little soggy but I suppose because me and my friends were quite a bit busy clicking its pictures.
Never had nachos chat before so yeah it was delicious with the amazing flavor of the chat.
An amazing fusion of Mexican with Indian spices.
Its totally worth a try.

HONEY CHILLI POTATO

This one was the best. We generally get honey chilli potato which doesn’t have much chilli in it. But this freaked me out. The after spicy flavor was mind boggling which was totally different and amazing.
Highly Recommended.

GRILLED SOYA CHOPS IN HOT SALSA

Personally I don’t have much liking for soya chops. So I didn’t like it much. But yes it was flavor full.
Definitely if you like soya chops its worth a try.

LOTUS STEM IN HONEY CHILLI

This was again mind boggling. Loved its flavors. These were crispy and the spicy aftertaste was what I loved the most.

PIZZA ALL E VERDURE

(pizza with grilled vegetables and cheese)
It was thin crust and delicious. It had delicious toppings comprising of capsicum, baby corn, olives and lots n lots of cheese.
Definitely cheese is the ingredient.

ASSORTED NON VEG PIZZA

This was the non veg pizza that we had on our table. When the waiters bought it on the table they added a smoky flovor to it by sprinkling some vodka and putting fire on it. It looked really good. I regret I didn’t capture it.

MAIN COURSE-

This part of the menu is my favorite specially if I am out with my family. I was almost full with all the veg stuffs I had before but I still had room for the main course. We had dal makhani, paneer lababdar and Thai cury green in the veg iems. Thai cury was particularly good as it is the chef special. It had coconut flavor in it which was mesmerizing.
Paneer lababdar was also good. The paneer was soft and melted in the mouth perfectly.

This is a perfect summer cooler. It was  sugary which I really liked and had a minty flavor which was refreshing.

CHOCOLATE BROWNIE with a scoop of vanilla ice cream
There is nothing much to say about this as it is always the best. The brownie was fresh and totally delicious.

Yes OTB is definitely worth visiting. It is a tough competitor of TGIP and other places serving alcohol and hookahs.
